Fauxwood horizontal blinds provide the elegant and rich look of real wood blinds, at a lower price point. Our Mariak fauxwood blinds are produced with the highest quality metal and polycarbonate components, combining quality craftsmanship with durability.

Fauxwood horizontal blinds are built on a roll-formed, heavy-duty steel headrail, which increases the strength and stability of the product. The operating components for these blinds are secured inside the headrail by means of snap-in fittings. As an added feature, the cord lock has a crash-resistant feature that locks the blind automatically once the lift cords are released, providing additional safety.

Stationary Arches

Fauxwood & Basswood Arch Tops:
Our beautiful Fauxwood & Basswood Arch Tops are the ideal treatment for any arched window. The slats are set at a 45 degree angle and are stationary. Shapes available are: “2″ Horizontal Stationary Perfect Arch” and the “2″ Horizontal Stationary Custom Arch.” There will be no deduction made on outside mounts, and 1/4″ deduction made on inside mounts. When facing an arch from inside a room, the slats will be facing in an “up” position for ultimate sun control and privacy. This will be standard fabricating unless otherwise specified. Quarter arches are available and will be priced the same as a half arch. Assembly may be required at installation time. Fauxwood and Basswood Arches are available in all colors and stains.

Perfect Arches vs. Custom Arches:
A “Perfect Arch” is one where the radius of the arch is constant at all points. In other words, the “Perfect Arch” is when the height is exactly half of the width. A template is not required when ordering a “Perfect Arch.” A “Custom Arch” is made to your exact specifications, and  requires a template.

General Specifications:

Minimum arch width is 20″. Maximum arch width is 84″. “Perfect Arches” and “Custom Arches” are non-returnable.
